New Mills Restaurant A Tavola Shortlisted for National Italian Awards

A New Mills restaurant is heading to London next month after being named a finalist at one of the country's most prestigious Italian food awards.

A Tavola, known for its Sicily-inspired menu, has been shortlisted in two categories at The Italian Awards for Best Pasta Restaurant and Best Front of House.

The Italian Awards celebrate the best Italian restaurants, cafes, and chefs across the UK, with categories covering everything from pizza and pasta to outstanding service and culinary innovation.

This year's gala dinner takes place at the end of March at the Marriott Grosvenor Square in London's Mayfair, where  A Tavola will compete against other finalists for the top honours.

For a small High Peak restaurant to be recognised on a national stage alongside some of the country's finest Italian establishments is no small achievement and a testament to the quality, atmosphere, and care that keeps locals coming back.

Whether they bring home the trophy or not, it's another reminder that you don't need to travel to London or Manchester for exceptional food.
